School Choice 2024/2025
The School Committee voted on April 29, 2024 to remain a school choice district and not accept applications for the 2024/2025 school year due to elementary building projects requiring swing space accommodations and post pandemic recovery needs.
Information About School Choice in Natick

The Natick School Committee has voted to be a Massachusetts School Choice District. Determination for allowing students to attend the Natick Public Schools under School Choice is determined on an annual basis. Factors determining that decision include:

  • The availability of seats/space in the school/grade requested;

  • The class sizes at the grade levels of enrollment;

  • That enrollment of the student will not have an adverse impact on the schools’ budget;

  • The effect on the student of enrollment, if it is to be at a time other than the beginning of a school year; and

  • Whether an appropriate educational program and current school resources for the student exist in the schools, provided that the education of students with disabilities remains the financial responsibility of the city or town in which the student’s parent(s) or legal guardian resides.
