Attendance

We are committed to ensuring all of our students have the best opportunity to succeed and consistent school attendance is critical to student success. Here are some things for you to consider:

  • If your child is sick, please keep your child at home. You can follow the guidelines provided by our health services department to determine if you should send your child to school.

  • If your child misses school for any portion of the school day for a doctor or dental appointment, please ask your doctor for a note to give the school. By providing a doctor's note, you are helping us keep accurate records of school attendance.

Please notify your school if your child is missing school for religious observance.

  • If your child is struggling getting prepared for school in the morning, talk with your school's guidance counselor or principal. We want to help you make your morning routine go well.

Please contact your school's nurse if you have any uncertainty about sending your child to school.

  • Please plan vacations for regularly scheduled vacation times. We know there are certain family events and expectations that cannot be avoided. Please let your school know in advance of those situations.

By working together we can do great things for our students. If you have any questions regarding the procedures (as outlined in the tabs below) and do not hesitate to contact your school for further details.
