Leaders For Ethics, Animals, And The Planet Program
LEAP (Leaders for Ethics, Animals, and the Planet) is a revolutionary humane education program providing high school students across the nation with a compassionate alternative to traditional agriculture programs like 4H and FFA. A comprehensive four-year program taught by participating farm animal sanctuaries, LEAP combines interactive curriculum modules with hands-on learning activities, leadership training, and real-world skill development. Actors Company Of Natick Internship Program
Gain experience in the professional theatre world with Actors Company of Natick. In this internship, you will experience what its like working in the arts industry in all departments. Website
Qualifications/Requirements/Notes:
All interns must be 18 years of age before July 5th 2023
Preferably reside in Natick or the Metrowest area
Internships will run from July 5th-31st 2023
Passion for the performing arts and theatre arts
Please note that these internships do not provide academic credit
Ladder Internships
Ladder Internships is a selective start-up internship program for high school students, founded and run by Harvard graduate students. In the program, students work 1-1 with supervisors from top start-ups to work on real-world projects in a real start-up environment. Our companies and supervisors come from Y Combinator, Harvard iLabs, Wharton, Google, Microsoft, and McKinsey & Company.
No prior working experience is required. The application deadline for the Spring cohort is February 18, here is the brochure and the application link.
The Boston Leadership Institute
The Boston Leadership Institute, a summer STEM program for teens, is seeking unpaid interns who could propel their experience with us into paid summer positions.
Summer Prep Internship open to all: Prepare registration materials, organize travel arrangements and summer logistics, work with computerized registration system.
Marketing Internship open to all: Assistance with flyer design and dissemination, newsletter content, and website content. Summer position would require experience with photography.
STEM Content Internship open to students who have taken Anatomy, AP Bio, AP Chem, AP Physics, and/or Biotech: Arrange lab activities for classes, search for class content and activities, research and contact facilities for field trips, script activities for class, screen documentaries and movies to find appropriate material for class. This is an inside track to a paid summer TA position.
Veritas
In the Veritas AI Start-up Internship Program, talented high school students have the opportunity to work with VC-backed startups on real-world AI/ML projects. Over 8 weeks, students collaborate with founders from Harvard, Wharton, Google, Microsoft, and McKinsey & Company. This program is selective and some coding experience is required. The application deadline is October 20, 2024 and this is the brochure and application form.

Metrowest Speech and Language Center - Internships available
Metrowest Speech and Language Center in Natick has two internships available. Community service hours available.
Social Media & Marketing: Seeking an intern to help develop online presence for Metrowest Speech and Language Center, in addition to assistance with traditional marketing campaigns (flyers, mailings, etc.).
Speech-Language: Seeking an intern with an interest in Speech-Language Pathology or Education to assist with office work, with opportunities to observe sessions

The Education Cooperative (TEC)
The Education Cooperative (TEC) Internship Program is a career exploration program supporting junior and senior high school students. TEC internships enable students to: clarify career goals and future academics; understand career paths and what having a job is really like; strengthen a college application and/or resume; gain confidence and life skills; and make potential contacts for a future job search. TEC is offering summer internships in over 60 career fields.

Danforth Assistantship Program
This year-round leadership program for teens provides experience in educational functions at the Danforth Art School and the Danforth Art Museum. Danforth Assistants serve the art school by helping with overall program facilitation during Summer Arts, our highly popular summer program for children, as well as school vacation week workshops which take place year-round. Assisting at the school includes working directly with children, providing support for teachers, preparation of materials and studio spaces, organization of supplies, and various administrative tasks. Danforth Assistants serve the museum by providing tours of the exhibitions to children during Summer Arts and providing support during public programming such as Drop Into Art and other events.

Danforth Assistantship Summer Program 2024
This year-round leadership program for teens provides experience in educational functions at the Danforth Art School and the Danforth Art Museum. Danforth Assistants serve the art school by helping with overall program facilitation during Summer Arts, our highly popular summer program for children, as well as school vacation week workshops which take place year-round. Assisting at the school includes working directly with children, providing support for teachers, preparation of materials and studio spaces, organization of supplies, and various administrative tasks. Danforth Assistants serve the museum by providing tours of the exhibitions to children during Summer Arts and providing support during public programming such as Drop Into Art and other events.
Placement in the Danforth Assistantship Program provides a modest stipend of $200 upon successful participation in the program as outlined below. Danforth Assistants receive valuable mentorship in all areas of their supportive roles at both the art school and museum. Danforth accepts applications from responsible, reliable, and energetic teens currently enrolled in or entering high school or college. Accepted assistants must:
attend a training course taking place on Saturdays during the spring, which will provide the necessary training for summer programming and service in the museum
commit to at least four weeks of service during Summer Arts in addition to at least four public events or workshops at the art school or art museum over the following year
sign an agreement which outlines their understanding of expectations and their commitment to serve on the dates specified
In addition to a stipend, all Danforth Assistants will receive individualized mentorship, valuable leadership experience, work and school references upon request, and an exit letter outlining specific individual contributions to the Danforth.
Applications will be accepted between January 2, 2024 and March 31, 2024.
